The Allerdale Court Hotel, Cockermouth welcomes you to the English Lake District.
It is with great sadness the family announce the sudden death of John Carlin following a heart attack. The popular hotelier will leave a big gap in the town and will be much missed by all.
Kay and her sons Jake and Charlie, daughter in law Paula, would like to thank everyone for their kind words, cards, emails and offers of help and support at what has been a very difficult time. Messages have been coming in from all over the world.
Kay and her sons have vowed to complete John's plans to revamp the ground floor of the hotel following the flood damage. They hope to open again in March 2010 in accordance with Johns wishes.
